6 Days Rwanda Uganda Primates and Wildlife Safari from Kigali

Our guide will pick you up in Kigali between 9am & 11am and drive to Volcanoes National Park. Visit Kinigi for Ibyi'wacu cultural experience at Volcanoes National Park. Alternatively, before driving from Kigali, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and Museum. The drive from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park is estimated at 3hrs.

You will head to the Bwindi National Park gate immediately after breakfast to get a briefing about the gorilla trek. The national park guide will conduct the presentation that covers the basics of what to expect during the gorilla trek. The national guide will assign the gorilla trekking group during the pre-trekking briefing. Other visitors will likely join you. The gorilla trek can take from few to many hours, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest. After the gorilla trek, we will drive back to the lodge. An optional community activity in the afternoon is available for booking.

We will start the journey in the morning from Bwindi National Park and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The tour will take you through the stunning landscapes of western Uganda. You will arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park in the late afternoon. An afternoon game drive is scheduled at the Kasenyi plains.
