Day 1: Full Day Kigali City Tour

The Kigali city sightseeing includes Gahanga local market, Akagera river separating Kigali from the Eastern province and which will pass through Akagera National Park separating Rwanda and Tanzania. This river continues its way into Lake Victoria and further to form the Nile river.

The city tour passes via Rebero, with the view overlooking the central part of Kigali city and the Kigali Convention Centre in the horizon and goes on to KABC; one of the modern shopping and entertainment center, Kigali car-free zone, mount Kigali for views of the city. Kigali Genocide Memorial and finally Kigali Height for debriefing, refreshing afternoon coffee or a local drink of choice.

Day 2 : Kigali to Nyungwe National Park

After your breakfast, transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park with stopover in south province to visit the King’s Palace Museum to lean more about a reconstruction of the traditional royal residence, the King’s Palace is a beautifully-crafted thatched dwelling shaped like a beehive.. Lunch en-route, and after transfer to the forest for dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge.

Day 3 : Chimpanzee Trekking & Canopy Walk

After breakfast meet at the park offices for briefing about the forest and the primates, thereafter enter into the forest searching for the chimpanzees and as you look for the chimps expect to spot other primates like the white and black Colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys and variety of birds.

Day 4 : Lake Kivu Adventure

Have a morning relax and and transfer to Kibuye for the Lake Kivu tour which gives you a fantastic explorations of Lake Kivu by visiting different islands such as Napoleon, Peace, Monkey, and Agricultural islands other islands in Kivu lake. Day 5 : Transfer from Kibuye to Gisenyi – Discover Night Fishing Activity

Day 6 : Lake Kivu -Volcanoes Park (Ibyi’Iwacu Cultural Village)

Have breakfast and then embark on the safari vehicle and transfer to Volcanoes National Park, a home to the mountain gorillas. The park has a numerous gorilla families for trekking and each family is visited by 8 clients per day.

Experience village walk and visit the Ibyi’wacu Cultural Village. They perform cultural dance and Kinyarwanda songs, lean more about traditional weddings, medicine, and more. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 : Rwanda Gorilla Trekking

Have breakfast, thereafter continue to the park headquarters for briefing about the mountain gorillas and the park as well, after enter into the jungle to search for the mountain gorillas.

Meet Gorillas about an hour while taking the unforgettable photographs and videos. Return to the park offices for your gorilla trekking certificate. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 : Volcanoes – Akagera Wildlife National Park

After breakfast, with your leisurely drive to Akagera National Park with middle way stop over for leg stretching and lunch, take a boat ride in lake Ihema with more chance to spot the Big Five animals, reptiles and birds, depending on time, you can embark on a half game drive before heading to the hotel, the park is an extension of Tanzanian plains where you can spot variety of wildlife species like the lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs among others for your full game drive at the next day.

Day 9 : Full Game Drive and Drive back to Kigali

Explore the park from the south to the northern part, full game drive to look for early riser wildlife species .
